This chaise features comfortable, cushioned bed of polyfoam padding. You will find it excellent for reading, resting, or dreaming. Four wooden feet contribute to the dramatic design. The velvet upholstery is 100% polyester, soft and smooth to the touch with short dense pile. It feels velvety and is very luxurious. The premier microseude upholstery is 100% microdenier polyester, soft and smooth to the touch, but slightly more coarse than velvet.

    I wanted a chaise to fill space left vacant in our living room (moved entertainment center to a new room). I wanted the living area to be a sitting room and wanted furniture to reflect that. The chaise is the perfect size for the area and is very soft but sits really, really low. It's a little difficult to sit back in as it is not quite as sturdy as I had hoped. Other than that, it is a nice looking piece of furniture that adds the touch I was looking for.

    For the price paid, this chaise was a huge disappointment. The construction is all particle board with one piece of wood as bracing.
    The cushions are uncomfortable and overall, the piece is small.
    I am extremely disappointed and more disappointed that I now have to pay to ship it back. If the purpose of this is to curl up on and read a book, do not buy this.

            We received this in no time at all. The shipping confirmation came on 09/27/2011 and it was received on 09/28/2011. I put it together in about 40 minutes. It is very comfortable and fits in nicely in our master bedroom. If I had another place to put another one of these, I would most definitely by another one. Another big plus is that it is made in the United States. Very affordable and very comfy.
